Data is published monthly with a base year 2025 and is split by the 13 main divisions of the ECOICOP ver. 2 (European Classification of Individual Consumption by Purpose, version 2). Economy and FinanceThis table provides information on population and national employment. • Annual data is available in persons. • The domestic concept refers to all employment occurring within a country’s economic territory, regardless of the workers’ place of residence. The national concept refers to all employment by resident individuals, including their work abroad and excluding that of non-residents within the domestic territory. • The population figure represents the average value calculated over the specified period. • The data presented in the table is compiled in accordance with the methodology and standards outlined in the ESA 2010 manual to ensure comparability and consistency. • The data spanning 1995 to 2020 are final and will not undergo further revision. • Figures in the tables may be subject to rounding, which can result in slight discrepancies in totals or calculated values. -
