Address Register

The Office of the Address Registrar was established through Legal Notice 205 of 2025, Address Register and related Location (Geospatial) Registers Regulations, 2025, published on the 23rd of September 2025. The Office of the Address Registrar assumed the responsibilities previously assigned to the Address Management Unit within the Electoral Office. Additionally, the Office of the Address Registrar is also responsible for the establishment and management of an Address Register, which shall act as the primary source of address information. Ultimately, the Address Register will be the authoritative registry of all streets and addresses in the Maltese archipelago, including spatial data.
