Freezing Orders

Chapter 621 of the Laws of Malta, Article 36(1) – “The Court shall, at the request of the prosecution, issue an Order, hereinafter referred to as a "Seizing and Freezing Order", attaching any property in the hands of third parties for which there is reasonable cause to believe that the property is subject to confiscation, and restraining and prohibiting the accused from transferring, pledging, hypothecating, or otherwise changing or disposing of any such property and of such other property owned by him or being in his possession.”
